Classic Klondike RulesThe classic Solitaire, and one of the world's most popular games
General RulesUses 1 pack of cards. The Stock deals up to 3 cards at a time to the Wastepile. When empty, the Stock can be restocked any number of times from the Wastepile. The front-most card on the Wastepile can be played to either the Tableau or Foundations.
How to WinThe game is won when each Foundation Pile shows a King. 
Building the FoundationsOnly 1 card at a time may be played to (or from) a Foundation Pile. Only an Ace can be placed on an empty Foundation Pile.  Build each Foundation Pile in ascending value from Ace to King, with all cards in a Pile sharing the same suit. 
Building the Tableau StacksThe Tableau Stacks are used to manage and store cards, before they are eventually moved to the Foundations. Only face-up cards are playable. Build each Stack in descending value and alternating color:  Either a single card or a group of cards can be moved from one Stack to another:  Only a King, or a group of cards headed by a King, can be placed on an empty Stack.  |
