Memory

In general, the faster the machine, the more memory (RAM) and the more recent the video card, the smoother the game.

Other Applications

Running other power-hungry applications while playing can cause Kitty to play in a choppy or interrupted fashion. Please quit out or pause such applications while playing.

Window Size

Reducing the size of the Solitaire window (click-and-drag in the lower-right hand corner of the window) may result in smoother play on some machines.

Hiding & Minimizing

Hiding or Minimizing Kitty's window will ask her to have a cat-nap and not use up any processing power. The current game will be paused during this time.

System Requirements

Mac OS X 10.3.9 and later
Kitty is a Universal Binary
G3 400MHz or faster computer
256MB RAM or more
3D Video card with at least 16MB of VRAM

Known Issues

Game sounds do not load properly on Intel Macs if QuickTime 7.1 is installed. An update to QuickTime has been released to resolve this problem, so please ensure that you have the latest version of QuickTime installed.
