Stats - Who loves Kitty, where?

We love seeing stats about indie Mac companies. Other people do too, so we thought we'd share:
Kitty was localized in French, German, Spanish and Italian for version 2 (released July 2006).
Since localization, players outside of the US have accounted for about one-third of all Kitty adoptions. French and German adoptions, although small in number compared to the US, have really started to climb. German players in particular have responded strongly to the localized Kitty.
The Italian market is a surprise though, with very little change in percentage terms. We're also lagging in Japan, no doubt due to the lack of localization for that country.
We'll have more stats soon, and we encourage other Mac developers to share their stories.

Dear kitty,
I've just downloaded version 3 and I beg you: PLEASE add a setting so that I can use the english interface again and I'm not forced to read the horrible german translation. It really really sucks, although there isn't too much text in the game...

I'm sorry to hear that you're disappointed with the German translation! If there's any corrections or suggestions you'd like to see, we'd love to hear from you.
You can turn off Kitty's translation by selecting Kitty in the Finder, and choosing Get Info. You can then turn off the German option in the Languages box. Full instructions can be found in the Player Guide, at:
